The INHS Mobile Science Center is designed for travel to small cities and rural school districts in Illinois with the aim of bringing science to the school and community. A series of changing exhibits—Exotic Species and Their Management, Arthropods Across Illinois, and The Illinois Prairie Ecosystem— are under development. Teachers are trained in the use of the vehicle at each site.
